Strange Situation Map
The strange situation map assignment allowed me to learn about the various attachment styles that children could have obtained from their parents. This will allow me to facilitate a safe environment based on their psychosical and developmental needs to appropriately assess. .
Disscusion post three- HDFS 5403
This discussion board allowed me to properly use assessment and practice provind developmentally appropriate activities to a child in a healthcare setting. In this case, it was a 13-year-old girl who had experienced a tragic accident and needed pain strategies such as comfort positions, music therapy to assist in distraction, or assisting the multidisciplinary team, which helped Flora understand her confusion.
